4^th AGM of PTEEL:

The 4^th Annual General Meeting of the Power Trade and Energy Exchange Limited (PTEEL) held on 9^th January,2025 at its office premises Uma Shankar Bhawan, Panipokhari, Kathmandu, Nepal.

PTEEL’s participation in MDI Training:

Representing PTEEL Company, Er. Kuldeep Sharan Singh, Er. Suman Sharma and Dr. Sandip Shah, directors of PTEEL Company,  participated in the training  “Evolving Power Market in India“, organized from April 21-23, 2025 by Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, India. Challenges and limitation in current CBET regulations and Cross Border Trading Practices & discussions was very helpful. Power point presentation on “Cross – Border Energy Trade – Status, Issues and Way Forward for Nepal” was also done.

Possibility of engaging in strategic initiatives to facilitate and strengthen power trading between India and Nepal was explored by engaging with right minded people.

Meeting between PTEEL and PTC India:

Er. Kuldeep Sharan Singh and Er. Suman Sharma, directors of PTEEL met with Mr. Vikram Singh Vice President of PTC India on April 24, 2025 at PTC Office, New Delhi. In the meeting PTEEL directors appraised Mr. Singh about recent activities related to power trade in Nepal.

The meeting was helpful in further strengthening business relationships and exploring collaborations between the two companies.

Completed Activities:

1. MoUs for power sales, signed with:
   1. Pashupati Renewables Pvt. Ltd (Hydro & Solar Power Project Developer)
   2. Urja Developers Pvt. Ltd. (Hydropower Project Developer)

Ongoing Activities:

1. Preparations for acquiring Approval / License for power trading and Electricity Exchange from Nepal Government.
2. Advocacy for power trade within Nepal and across borders in South Asian Region
